NARRATIVE FILM
Roku views each short film she creates as a record of a chapter in her life — not only for the story it tells on screen, but for the process of making it. Each production becomes a reflection of the people she meets, the places she lives, and the emotions she experiences along the way.
Since 2015, she has directed and produced a diverse range of short films across Beijing, Guangzhou, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Missouri — before, during, and after the pandemic; in cities and in the countryside — each marking a unique stage of her artistic and personal journey.
